Single-Tooth Dental Implant

As the name suggests, this option is used when a patient is replacing a single tooth. Dental implants are made up of an implant post and a restoration. The post is surgically placed in the bone socket of the missing tooth, where it acts as replacement tooth roots. The restoration will replace the tooth itself. In the case of a single-tooth dental implant, the restoration will be a crown.

Implant-Supported Bridges

If a patient is missing multiple teeth and has enough bone structure in their jaw, our dentist can place an implant-supported bridge. Because the dental bridge is supported by implants, the surrounding teeth will not need to be shaped.

Implant-Supported Dentures

When a patient is missing most or all of their teeth, Dr. Tammy Perison may place implant-supported teeth. A regular denture rests on the gums and may slide or slip. Implants offer stability to the denture so the individual can easily eat and speak properly.
